Kevin Day - Staff  Alfred, Maine

I am 35 years old and I have been married for 16 years. I have two children, 1 girl and 1 boy. I have been interested in fishing and hunting since the age of 5. My brother and I would catch fish with our hands in a shallow river that ran behind our house in Massachusetts.

My family moved to Maine when I was 10 years old to live near our grandparents. My grandfather and father told so many hunting and fishing stories that it just seemed natural to make it a big part of my life. I am now a registered Maine guide and I hunt and guide with my brother for bear, moose, cats, turkey and deer. I also hunt with dogs. I have 10 dogs, English, Walkers and Plotts, that I hunt bear and cats with. We have property on the Penobscot River in Northern Maine where we take our families to fish and just enjoy the Maine woods. I am also a member of the Maine Guide Association.
